So today I tried shaving Gel. I haven’t used Gel for about forever and thought I would give it a try. I used it in the shower in place of the ordinary soap I would normally use.
How did it go? Well, the best way to describe it is “ugh”!
It felt like I was shaving with graphite on my face. Slippery but dry. Really dry. Granted I wasn’t slicing myself up, nor was it akin to dry shaving, but it was not what I was used to or what I expected.
Aside from the dryness? Well it had menthol in it. But that really didn’t make up for the feel of the stuff.
All in all, I think I’ll chunk this stuff in the “round file” and call it a failed experiment.
